(THE BEAST hisses and leaps back under the blankets.)

I asked you a question, mutt. What were you doing? DOG What? Nothing. I wasn’t doing anything.

CAT Good. We have to keep that disgusting little thing in line. We’re almost there. DOG What do you mean? CAT What do you think I mean? It’s almost dead. We’re so close! DOG Dead? What are you talking about? CAT Why do you think I’ve been keeping garlic around the cage? We’re starving it out! Just like it tried to do to us. DOG Oh my god. CAT I know it, we’re almost there. So please, for the love of God, don’t mess this up. I’ve kept up my reading. We are so close!
