But I know my value

dogs walked, fed, brushed grass mowed

new-sewn curtains

house trim painted

A heart that warms

the inviting light

a nourishing meal

a soft-sung lullaby

shoestrings tied

sandwiches made

kitchen swept curtains drawn to close out the

night
