Sales Person: Looking at this couch? It’s one of our best sellers! And it’s on sale for a limited time! (Owen looks over at Maya as to see her reaction. She is looking at him. They lock eyes and stare at each other for a little bit while the sales person just awkwardly stands there. Owen takes first step.) Owen: I think we’ll take it. It’ll look nice in the apartment. At first it may be stiff and not comfortable. But we’ll get used to it. Or it’ll get more comfortable. Because we really like this couch and we want it to work. Right Maya? This is a really nice couch that could be really nice. So, I think we should go ahead and buy it. Sales Person: Well that’s a lot of thought to put behind a couch but great! And how will you be paying for this today? Sales person: Great! I will get the couch ready for you and meet you up at the front whenever you’re ready, no rush! (The sales person walks away. Maya is staring at Owen and Owen is looking down at the couch. He sits on it.) Owen: I think it’s already pretty comfortable already. You know you never even sat on it. Owen: Credit card.

(Maya sits down next to Owen on the couch. She is stiff. Sitting with her knees in 90-degree angle with her hands covering her knees. She looks uncomfortable, but like she is trying to figure this out.)

Maya: You sure you want this one?
