About the author

Traci M. Orman is an Assistant Professor of Business in the Department of Business and Leadership at Saint Mary-of the- Woods College (“SMWC”). Traci earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of California, Los Angeles (“UCLA”) School of Law in 2000, a Master of Business Administration from SMWC in 2025, and a Master of Leadership Development from SMWC in 2024. Traci transitioned from a full-time practicing attorney to higher education and teaching at SMWC in the fall of 2024. Traci’s research interests include gender equality along with law and policy. Traci enjoys spending time with her family as well as reading and traveling.
