Arete Featured in Library Showcase Week Αρετή (Arete) Journal of Excellence in Global Leadership was selected by PALNI Open Press publications for the Library Publishing Coalition’s inaugural Showcase Week, and we are excited to share that Arete has been selected as a publication highlight.

About Showcase Week The Library Publication Showcase Week Task Force is excited to announce that the inaugural Library Publishing Showcase Week will be February 23 – 27, 2026 ! Library Publishing Showcase Week is a celebration of the creativity, innovation, and significance of library publishing programs. Throughout the week, LPC will spotlight how library publishing supports authors, students, researchers, and scholarly communities by featuring impactful publications, partnerships, and services. Participants were selected from submissions across the LPC community and Αρετή (Arete) Journal of Excellence in Global Leadership will be featured.

Editorial Fellowship Program

Ph.D. in Global Leadership students are invited to apply for an Editoral Fellow role with the editorial team of Αρετή (Arete): Journal of Excellence in Global Leadership and earn program publication credit by contributing to the improvement and visibility of this global, peer-reviewed, open-access journal. Students choose projects to work on including: section (training) for editors, website curators, social media coordinators, and/or helping to write AI Policy Guidelines. The Editorial Fellows gain practical application in scholarly publishing experience while advancing critical conversations in global leadership across disciplines. Two students were selected for Spring/Summer 2026: Arlie Paris and Dzungwenen Tyohemba. These two students worked diligently with the chief editor to develop an AI policy that guides editors, reviewers, and authors along with website content management. Katrina (Kat) Cunnington joined the Editorial Fellowship Program during the Fall/Winter 2026 session and has taken on the task of serving as a copyeditor . She has already earned the nickname, “Eagle eye s!. ” Her other tasks include updating the website and preparing social media to invite potential authors. At the GLEE Conference in March 2026, the Αρετή Arete Journal of Excellence in Global Leadership was proud to announce the recipients of the 2026 winners of the prestigious Contribution of Excellence (COE) award. This accolade recognizes outstanding contributions to the field of global leadership, highlighting innovative research, impactful insights, and exemplary dedication to advancing leadership practices worldwide.
