Ones similar to the Mindful College Connections consortium with Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and DePauw University, funded by a Lilly Endowment Inc. grant and a student success collaboration led by the University of Indianapolis with four other institutions that the Lilly Endowment Inc. also funded. He plans to explore other partnerships and collaborations to assist with the upkeep of the aging buildings. The need to preserve them from a historical perspective has to be balanced with modernizing some building issues, such as plumbing and other everyday uses. In his closing remarks, Randolph affirmed, “I do not take the role that I have accepted as the 17th President of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College lightly. I know that there is a tall order ahead of me.”
