Allison “Alli” Payonk ’21G is still working as a music therapist at an alternative school for autistic students in St. Louis, Missouri and finished her master’s in music therapy at The Woods last year in December 2021. Jodi Smith O’Neal works at home caring for her toddler and baby until they reach school age. Recently she has taken up bird photography as a pastime, and her little family has adopted a couple of beautiful parrots. Shannon Lueking Mattingly switched jobs this past year. She is working as a nurse still but in the Riley Outpatient Surgery Center and loves it! Her husband and her also adopted a rescue dog, Yogi! Holly Henderson works in Nashville, Tennessee, at The Picnic Cafe and as an equestrian lesson instructor, where she teaches kids how to ride horses. Recently, she took a trip to Gatlinburg where her boyfriend and her hiked and explored the town together. I am wrapping up my final year of the Master of Leadership Development program at The Woods. I work remotely for Catholic Charities in Terre Haute as the Development Assistant of its agency programs, including Ryves Youth Center, Bethany House and the Christmas Store. This helps me be closer to my husband Kyle and sons Levi, four, and Beau, two. On occasion, I am a freelance writer for the Terre Haute Living Magazine and was elected as a board member of the Wabash Valley Railroad Museum. Jessica Calvert: After graduating from SMWC in 2019 with a bachelor’s in English, Jessica recently completed her master’s in creative writing from the Mississippi University for Women. She is working on the final revisions of her first novel. Amy Allen is currently a special education teacher in Robinson, Illinois. She will graduate with a master’s degree in educational administration later this year. Madeline Grumieaux Sievers and Austin Sievers ’18 welcomed their first child, Ella Jane, into the world this February. Baylee Garver Myers met her husband during her time at SMWC and they recently got married in September 2022. They were married on his family farm! First Nations people in that area in the mid-1500s-1611. The Bay of Fundy, Port Royal, Kejimkujik National Park and Cape Breton were among the places she visited! My family and I moved to Batavia, Illinois from North Aurora in 2021. I teach preschool for Batavia Park District, and Bob is starting his 18th year as a physicist with Fermilab. Patrick, 12, keeps busy with Boy Scouts, band, and school sports. Abby, nine, loves softball, Girl Scouts and is playing the piano. I hope you and your families are doing well! She visited family and friends over the year, spending quality time several times last year. Jennifer “Jen” Cassidy Bierhaus and her husband Zach recently relocated for her husband’s job. She now works for the state of Alaska Attorney General. They are expecting their first baby this Spring. Morgan May Sparks owns Rhythm Garden Music LLC in Jasonville, Indiana, where she and her team of music therapists (three of whom are fellow Woodsies) provide music therapy services and music enrichment programming. Recently, Morgan was awarded the JHS-SHS Distinguished Alumni Award, for the impact she & her business has made on the community, such as organizing a community interactive mural project and a community garden. Morgan currently serves as president of GROW Jasonville, Inc., a new non-profit focused on community improvement and the Delta Xi chapter of Tri Kappa. Morgan lives in Jasonville with her husband, Brandon, and their two sons. Lana Shoaf completed her master’s degree in Biblical Studies through Moody Bible Institute in 2019. She uses her undergrad from SMWC and experience from teaching seven years of high school English/ Language Arts to aid in writing adult Sunday School curriculum for Renew Publishing. She teaches the Bible and speaks at women’s events throughout northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio through Leaning In Ministries. In the Spring, she will begin teaching remote classes at Colorado Christian University. Tiffany Veach and I moved to Sullivan when Tiffany became the Controller and Director of Accounting at Sullivan County Community Hospital. I re-launched my craft business, offering more services, including event planning and invitation designs. My cards are now carried by some women-owned businesses, and I was honored to plan the wedding of my cousin Allee Taylor ’22 . We welcomed our new baby Frannie (Frances Xavier), in late July. My service dog Dora (Theodora Guerin), was certified and is now able to accompany me everywhere. She is currently living in St. Louis, Missouri and has enjoyed getting to know the St. Louis Alumni group. Casey Dust-Waywood has changed jobs (still in education but switched to third grade!) and got married on November 5th!

May. Caitlyn will be traveling to Hawaii with their family in February. Katherine “Katie” Ginder is teaching fourth grade at Little Flower Catholic School on the east side of Indianapolis and is enjoying the welcoming and tight-knit community it offers! Whitney Ramsey started a new job closer to home as a RN in an Obstetrics unit and loves it so far. Whitney has picked up reading and actually enjoys it, which is nice because she used to despise it. She really wants to go on a pilgrimage trip to Ireland with her parish this year. Cheyenne Hay has welcomed her newest child, a baby boy named Asher. She began a new job as a registered behavior technician working at ABC for Autism. She moved to Riley, Indiana and plans on staying there for awhile. Currently she spends her free time with her three kiddos and preparing her oldest to start preschool this fall! Braden Kelsey has slept 10 hours a night and has kicked his feet up while he waits to hear back from master’s programs. Braden is looking forward as well to a two-week backpacking trip across the Western United States come summer. Alexis Allen Stultz started her dream job in June of 2022 in the Mother Baby department of Union Hospital. She also recently got married on October 22, 2022, to Brayden Stultz. Briana Cramer has started a full-time job at Harsha Autism Center and is obtaining her Registered Behavior Technician Certification in 2023. She has been reading, writing and working on her crochet skills in her free time. Dallis Davis is buying a home in Terre Haute, Indiana and is getting married on October 14, 2023. She also started working at Union Hospital in pediatrics in June of 2022. Tavia Hedrick is in her first year as a graduate student at Indiana University. She is working toward a master’s degree in environmental science and public affairs with a concentration in ecology and conservation. Outside of school, Tavia is a development intern at the WonderLab Museum of Science. She is a Catholic Philanthropic Advisor, with the focus of her work concentrating on development efforts for the Mother Theodore Catholic Academies. Val and her husband, Greg, welcomed two grandsons into their family and awaits the arrival of their granddaughter in March. Lara Chandler-Belsley ’16G was hired as Dove Recovery House for Women’s first Chief Operations Officer. Dove House provides lifesaving substance use treatment for women in Marion and Dubois County. Lisa Thatcher ’17G is back at The Woods as part of the inaugural Ph.D. in Global Leadership program designed for working professionals and is also research faculty at Indiana University, a wife, a daughter, a volunteer and a mom to two kids under 10. She is, however, very behind on her favorite shows. I am excited to be a student (again) at SMWC in the Ph.D. in Global Leadership program! In addition to working on my degree, I have relocated back to Terre Haute and continue to work within nonprofit organizations. I also adopted a pup named Louie!

Kamryn Kikta- After wrapping up 500 Festival Princess Program events in May and passing the NCLEX in June, Kamryn began her career as an RN. She is proud to continue her education at SMWC in the Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) Family Nurse Practitioner Program while working full-time in an urgent care setting. Ashley Simmons is currently living in Orlando, Florida, working at Walt Disney World Resort in Magic Kingdom. She is working online, pursuing her Master of Leadership Development (MLD) at The Woods. Caitlyn Wyrick was accepted into the Occupational Therapy Program at Indiana State University and starts in
