Since graduation Danielle Isbell ’19G continues to work as the director of resource development at United Way of the Wabash Valley. She gives back to her community through her volunteerism with other organizations. She is in her second year of serving on the TH Children’s Museum Board of Directors and was recently named secretary for the SMWC Alumni Board of Directors. Tamara “Tammy” Marion ’16G and her husband, Tim, celebrated 26 years of marriage in December 2020. Their family’s manufacturing business, Marion Manufacturing, has continued to grow since completion of her MLD. Tammy enjoys spending time on the family’s farm and assisting with the business aspects of it. She is looking forward to summer and spending time in the garden. After getting her undergrad at The Woods, Christina “Christy” Pearison ’19, ’20G continued her education at SMWC with a Master’s in Leadership and Development. Deciding she wasn’t quite ready to end her education, she took advantage of the “Women in Leadership” certification program and completed it in fall 2020. In 2018, Gloria Graham ’16G became the associate vice president for safety and security in Charlottesville, Virginia, after the Unite the Right rally. In 2020, Gloria retired from her 25-year law enforcement career and pivoted into healthcare public safety and emergency management. She joined the largest health-system in Florida as the system director for public safety in April 2021. Gloria oversees public safety and emergency management operations throughout the southwest Florida region. She and her daughter, Aliyah, now reside in southwest Florida. Ann Bumb ’12G is your Class Agent. Jessica Roberts Wiegmann ’16, ’18G and her husband, Michael Wiegmann ’18G, met in the MLD program in 2017. They joined the SMWC Alumni to Greece in 2019, where they got engaged. And later married on the beach in Florida on May 27, 2020. They hope to join more trips and events for SMWC in the future! Susan Turner ’14G , husband, Isaac, and son, Max, enjoyed time together over the past year including socially distanced trips to Brown County, Gatlinburg and Lake Michigan. Susan celebrated her second anniversary at the Terre Haute Children’s Museum in January. She’s using skills learned in the MLD to navigate leading a nonprofit through a pandemic. Sirrea Hayes Whittaker ’07, ’10G has been working from home. Most of her days are also spent e-learning with her daughter. Currently she is planning her first garden when the weather breaks and transforming her backyard into a safe space to spend the summer.

Marie Elliot ’17G received a promotion to Director of Interactive Marketing at PlatformQ Education. She also serves as Membership Co- Chair on the board of local Leadership Connect. Camille Collera ’16, ’18G took over as Executive Director at the United Child Care Center, Inc. in 2020. She is getting ready to further her educational career to pursue a doctorate degree in Early Childhood. Courtney Jo New ’14, ’17G began a new adventure as the Family Services Coordinator for Monroe County Head Start in March 2020. She has spent the past year learning and navigating her new role amid a pandemic, spending time with family, reading lots of non-fiction books and learning French. Devin Flanigan Blankenship ’17G continues to teach English as a Second Language and Irish (Gaelic). He looks forward to when he can travel to Ireland again. During the pandemic, Devin has spent much of his free time with his sister, brother- in-law and nieces. He is currently a doctoral candidate at Alverno College. Lisa Thatcher ’17G has been awash in the blur of pandemic parenting — teacher for her 1st grader by day, wife to a considered-essential realtor, mom to a very busy toddler and a full-time employee who is thankful to be able to work from home but who is also so very tired. Kevin Arnett ‘17G and his wife Alyssa Flynn Arnett ‘12 are looking forward to their 10th anniversary together! Tai Blythe ’11G was recently promoted to chief operating officer at Pace Community Action Agency, Inc. Pace is part of a nationwide network of agencies that improve the community & encourage self-reliance. Tai has worked at Pace for 14 years. Jennifer Gilmore ’13G recently became the director of people and culture at True Rx Health Strategists. In February 2021 she received her HR certification of SHRM-CP. Katherine “Katie” Rogers Margolis ’15G is thrilled to have joined the start-up team at Glowforge as their first account manager, focusing on helping schools and hospitals get started with 3-D laser printing. Chastity Burow-Catney ’12G with her husband, Aaron, and children, Grace 19 (IUPUI) and Gavin 13, enjoy living life on a lake. She is a medical affairs advisor/launch COO at Eli Lilly and has a passion in the purpose of launching medicines. Chastity’s hobbies include water sports, teaching group fitness classes, planning activities in her lake community and recently found a new hobby of acrylic painting since working remotely. Todd E. McIntyre ’20G is the assistant athletic director and powerlifting coach at SMWC. He volunteers with the United Way of the Wabash Valley and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He is a member of the USCAA National Softball Committee and College Sports Information Directors of America.

Erin Harnett Collins and her husband are settling into their new town wonderfully in Michigan. They were expecting a daughter in March 2021, but she decided to grace them with her presence a little early! They welcomed sweet Avery Jane into the world on Dec. 28, 2020! Jessica Pitts has recently begun taking business classes at a local community college in Austin, Texas and has been learning candle making in her free time. Elizabeth Behringer is going back to SMWC for her second bachelor’s degree from The Woods starting in March 2021. She will be majoring in information technology. She is excited for this opportunity to help make her future even brighter in this IT world! Tracee Bourne has been keeping busy with her 7-year-old daughter and working in the COVID unit at Union Hospital. Erin Hermes had an exciting May 2020: she got engaged and graduated with her pharmD! She is currently doing a two-year pharmacy residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Next year, she will be specializing in ambulatory care. Caitlin Kowalski has recently celebrated her three-year work anniversary and was promoted to manager. Last year, Mikayla Metheny Thomas decided to stay home with her son, Noah, and it has been the best decision! Her and her husband have been remodeling their entire home. They are appreciating the extra time at home together as a family. Haylie Davenport Beaumont is thankful to have recently started a new career that she loves. Her and her husband has rescued a senior dog, Maddy, who is adjusting to her new life beautifully! Haylie has been trying to read more this year and do some craft projects. Donna Olson ’12G says after graduating from SMWC in 2011, she continued work as a hospital chaplain, where the art therapy was helpful, with staff as well as patients. She has used it more formally with the Sisters with dementia. It is something they use for comfort with the pandemic. Be safe – and blessed! Karen Anderson-Fignon ’12G says her career/ lifestyle assessment is now an online program- www.YourEPICSjourney.com and it can be used for all ages and learners. She is excited to be selling licenses to schools, VR agencies and wellness programs. Email her if you are interested infusing the program or in becoming a facilitator. It is imagery and art based.
