Helicoptering has also been referred to “snow plowing” meaning that you can clear the way for your student by solving their problems for them. Students can learn to succeed on their own with gentle nudges and guidance. Encouraging them to find solutions and problem solve on their own will motivate them to greater success in their educational experience and beyond.
