Title IX
Title IX can be defined as:
• No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation, in be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.
There are two Title IX Coordinators on campus. They are:

Within Title IX, there are many umbrellas. Some examples of Title IX violations would include:
Gender discrimination Sexual harassment

• Discrimination based on pregnancy • Non-consensual sexual contact • Retaliation • Stalking • Sexual exploitation

Human Resources
If you have a HR related issue, it is important to know the chain of command as to who to speak with first. Please speak with your supervisor if you have a problem first, so they can appropriately direct you. If you or a student is experiencing things like harassment, please direct them to HR. All HR related info is saved in the Human Resources folder in Woods Net. For any questions, please contact Brooke Hickey or Terry Bowe.
