National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA)

SMWC has been a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) since July 1 st , 2021. There are certain requirements student athletes need to maintain in order to keep them eligible to play their respective sport.

SMWC houses the following athletic teams:

Student athletes need to be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours for each term. The preferred number of credit hours (for all students) is 15 credit hours. This course load will keep a student on track for graduation in four years. Student athletes need to earn a cumulative 2.0 GPA to remain eligible and earn 12 credits hours each semester.
