Aspire Indiana Health GCWL Program Guide
Week Three: June 23-June 29
For the past fifteen years, Kourtney has assisted individuals navigate personal challenges, mediated and coached conflicts, adjudicated policy violations, and investigated complaints of harassment and discrimination. During her time at Indiana State, Kourtney co-chaired the campus wide sexual misconduct prevention program, "It's On Blue." Since its infancy in 2015, Kourtney has advanced the program beyond the online training module into an ongoing experience for the campus community with campus presentations and collaborative programming. Her work has been grounded in policies, procedures, and upholding ethical standards. Kourtney is ardently aware of the invaluable impact that leadership, productivity and prioritization, and strategic thinking has assisted her throughout her career. In January 2022, Kourtney took a leap of faith and left the field her entire professional career had been centered around. She joined The Woods as the Leadership Program Specialist to the Dean for the Division of Business and Leadership. Had life gone as planned, Kourtney would have already earned her doctoral degree and would be advancing seamlessly in her career. After many pivots, Kourtney began the Ph.D. Global Leadership program in the fall of 2021. And Lord willing, come August 2024, will be A.B.D.
While not ready to forecast the future for Dr. Kourtney Barrett; the experiences and knowledge gained will most certainly be used for good.
