Week Five: July 7-July 13

Welcome to the Woods! As a graduate of the Woods, I am excited to be part of your journey of learning! I was a former softball student-athlete while majoring in Elementary Education and was fortunate enough to work with the basketball program for a few years as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my time while at The Woods! I continued my educational path at Indiana State University in Recreation and Sport Management where I was fortunate to learn as a graduate assistant in both academics and intercollegiate athletics. Athletics then became my second home and learned to enjoy NCAA compliance, which is where I started my career. I began teaching and working on my doctoral degree simultaneously. Fifteen years later I find myself continuing to love athletics and teaching. I have a beautiful eight year-old daughter that keeps me extremely busy. Originally from Peoria, Illinois, so I am not far from home. I enjoy all sports and attending as many SMWC events as possible!
