As part of these previous roles, Eric performed root cause/corrective action (RCCA) investigations for aircraft maintenance-related errors, focusing on human factors. Eric is also a former small business start-up owner as well as founder of a not-for-profit organization. Eric’s various psychological research interests include human factors, subjective well-being, happiness, self-efficacy, emerging leadership, as well as ethics and morality studies. He serves as Ethicist and Lead Researcher for the PARC Project, an initiative researching the impact that Parkinson’s Disease has on one’s faith and belief. Eric has also participated in archaeological digs with the U.S. Forest Service’s PIT and University of Notre Dame. In addition to archeology, Eric’s interests include astronomy, permaculture and plants, as well as spending quality time with his wife and grandchildren.
