5) Click “Old and New Values” Here is where the recoding takes place where 1 =5, 2=4, 3=3, 2=4, and 1=5 (It may seem odd to work with 3 = 3, but you need to do this one too. The arrow shows how each one is added.

6) Then select continue and look at the data – notice the Q3R and Q4R are shown with the rest of the data. Never delete your original data!
