Visualize, interpret, and present
One of the most important aspects of researching is exploring your data through visualizations. The nuts and bolts section only covers a few potential visualizations. More visualizations will be discussed in later chapters including how to use different applications to arrive at the best visualization for the scenario/data. Visualizations are the key to understanding your data.
Visualizations tell the story of the data. John Tukey has a similar quote to the one presented here. Tukey said, “ The greatest value of a picture is when it forces us to notice what we never expected to see. ”
Public Visualizations from studies One of the public datasets mentioned earlier is Global Preferences Survey conducted by the BRIQ Institute on Behavior & Inequality. You can actually select the characteristic(s) and the countries (76 countries participated in this study).
